Village of Salado Staff

The Villageof Salado has a staff comprised of six people who work diligently to manage the day-to-day governmental activities of an expanding city and surrounding community. In addition, there are volunteers who make up the Salado Board of Aldermen, Boards, Commissions, and Committees.

 

Vacant, the City Secretary (vos@saladotx.gov), administers the records management program for the Village and policy development. She provides administrative support at the Board of Aldermen meetings and other meetings, maintains official records for the Village including minutes, ordinances, resolutions, legal documents, and contracts; provides documents and information to the public and staff as requested; and prepares updates to the Code of Ordinances. The City Secretary also coordinates with Village Boards and Commissions.

 

Chrissy Lee, the She serves as Office Manager, (clee@saladotx.gov) coordinating the efforts of personnel, serving as a link between administration and employees. She has responsibilities for administering compensation and benefits, training and development, and employee relations, as well as answering questions and processing information for the public. She also handles enforcement of the sign ordinance, building code violations, issues stop work orders, and handles citizen comments/complaints. Contact Chrissy

 

Yvonne Lane, Downtown Art & Cultural District Director & Grants, (ylane@saladotx.gov) coordinates downtown beautification efforts in collaboration with Keep Salado Beautiful and work with artist stakeholders to elevate and promote Salado's arts & cultural district.  Contact Yvonne

 

Dwaine Barton, Maintenance & Public Works Coordinator, whose primary responsibilities include maintenance of the public parks, roads, and streets, and miscellaneous duties around City Hall. Under the supervision of the Village Administrator, he addresses street repairs, including street signs, low water crossings, potholes, tree trimming, and maintaining Village sewer system plant.
